In 2019, Cappelli Identity Design goes for the renovation of a residence from 1__ in the historical district of San Giovanni, Rome downtown.
The renovation project was ambitious due to its technical structural reinforcementes and conceptual challenges.
The Studio had to be not only the headquarters of Cappelli Identity Design, a creative and sparky graphic design studio, but also a place of cultural and art sharing. That starting point led us to think about graphic, geometrical compositions and strategical bold color touches that show off like energy slashes.
The Studio is thought and run as an open-space, in pure minimal style with an industrial nuance. High ceilings and large windows provide a lot of natural light and air. A custom-made carpentry wall hides the services, which appear almost as a surprise. Color is used in transition between spaces: an energetic colourful entrace tunnel, a high blue arch to enclose the working area, an special restored original door to give privacy in a room.
The place is fitted to keep ideas and plannings flying throughout.
