Casa Mia

Casa Mia is an apartment with simple lines, but with great spatial personality.

2023

In the heart of the historic center of the city of Valencia, this small loft-style apartment is designed to be a space of light, calm and elegance.

The building where it is located was recently rebuilt, preserving the classic notes of 19th century residential architecture. High ceilings, straight and simple moldings and large wooden windows that make up each of the typical facades of the Carmen neighborhood.

The color range is soft and uniform, where each functional element of the home tries to integrate to create an orderly and comfortable environment. The living room and kitchen coexist in the same space, with a central volume that functions as an island and table. The stone chosen for this project has been honed.

Calacatta Gold, due to its copper veins with golden touches, which provide an extra degree of luminosity and warmth. The beech wood floor softens the sun’s reflections and blends every contrast.

The furniture tends to be massive, composed of low modular volumes that enhance the height and feeling of spaciousness of an apartment with these dimensions.

The bathroom tries to reflect a stone space, with a bathing area and a toilet area.

A decorative mosaic made with the same marble and illuminated by adjustable and indirect light is used to create a sophisticated relaxing atmosphere.
